Composition Contest Winner

The Alabama Orchestra Association is pleased to announce that David Rimelis is the 2013 winner of the annual composition contest. His original work, My Not So Ordinary Day at School, will be premiered by the Festival Orchestra at the All-State Orchestra Festival held February 7-10, 2013. New Sinfonia Orchestra

We are pleased to announce that starting this year, the All-State Festival will consist of two full orchestras. The Sinfonietta String Orchestra is being expanded to a full symphonic orchestra and will be renamed the Sinfonia Orchestra.
